I'm now a Premium Member...
After looking through some of my USA photos, the option to sell them as a print sprung into sight. And the ball started rolling...
I thought back to my stay in the USA and how much I enjoyed taking those pictures and seeing those awe inspiring landscapes. Considering my granddad was a professional photographer in his younger years and my father telling me on frequent occasions that I am a lot like him, it got me thinking about taking up photography as a more serious hobby.
Lacking the proper tools (a decent camera for starters!), I started thinking on how to begin this endeavor; "I have the software to prep the photos and enhance them, all I need now is a place to put them on display and properly organize them. DA seems to be the perfect solution for this and people can even get my photo's on print in large should they so desire.".
To emphasize for myself that this is not yet another 'wild' idea I'm having that keeps me occupied for days on end as I get so often late at night (and then fades from my active mind)... I decided to see what a Premium Membership would cost me. At only €6 (and a little) for 3 months I imagined this to be quite worth the effort.
Whether this is another one of my common sparks of insanity or not remains to be seen. Though, I'm optimistic that it's something more this time. Let's hope this spark catches fire!

Midnight oil and the burning of it...
Trying to figure out Illustrator CS6 (for 2 days now). The learning curve has been smoothed out a bit by my knowledge of Photoshop CS6; not quite the same thing, but there are similarities which help out a bit. I've only just begun to discovering the benefits of using Illustrator over Photoshop and they're quite numerous. Unfortunately the program does not obey my wishes as I'd like it to...
I've been inspired by some people here on DA and thought I'd give it a go myself. Being the nerd that I am I've decided to design my own starship set in an alternate Star Trek universe (I can't do the original universe any just anyway). Thought it would
Thank you for all the Llama's!
Embarrassingly, I seem to have been given 10 Llama's but only handed out 4 myself... This calls for some rectification!
Devious Journal Entry
Finally came around to putting some photo's up here. Resized to 25% of their original size and 'upped' the contrast and colors on most of them. Note to self: don't make pictures through the window of a bus anymore, the reflection can ruin a perfect shot. Just compel the driver to pull over next time!
Also, it's bed time :)
New
A friend (Tourash) requested I make a profile here... soooo... here I am.
Most graphic stuff I've done in the past, were signatures and some website layouts. Nothing too fancy if I say so myself. I've learned most of the techniques and skills on GameRenders.
I've also done some skins for Quake 3 player models and some textures for use in my own maps.
Will post them all here within a few days :P
